Randy Pennington helps leaders and organizations build cultures focused on results, relationships, and accountability. He is a twenty-year business performance veteran, author, and consultant who has worked with many of the country's best-known organizations including: Alabama Power Company, Motorola, LaSalle Bank, SmithBucklin, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Texas A&M University, Marathon Oil, Sprint PCS, Huntsman Chemical, Progressive Insurance, and DFW Airport in addition to government agencies at the local, state, and national level. Additionally, he serves as an adjunct instructor in the Cox Business Leadership Center at Southern Methodist University.
Pennington is author of two books: On My Honor, I Will, received endorsements from President Gerald Ford, Zig Ziglar and Stephen Covey, Ph.D. and is being re-written for publication by Red Honor Press for a spring 2008 release. His second book, Results Rule!, was released by John Wiley & Sons and named a 2007 "Best Books" Winner by USA Book News.
Pennington is a frequent radio talk show guest and commentator. His ideas and comments on integrity, trust, and commitment have appeared in The New York Times, Entrepreneur, Executive Excellence and in numerous professional and trade association journals. He has also appeared on CNN, Fox News, the BBC, the ABC radio network.
Randy's background is a unique blend of line, staff, and consulting experiences ranging from hourly employee to senior management. He holds a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Psychology and completed Postgraduate work in Organization Administration and Management. He was the 1998-99 Chairman of the Board for the American Heart Association, Texas Affiliate, and a founding member of the Texas Council on Disease and Stroke. Randy earned the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation from the National Speakers Association (NSA) in 1996. He currently serves as Chairman of the NSA Foundation Board of Trustees and as a member of the NSA Board of Directors.
